Shift : 7 : 00 PM - 7 : 30 AM

Experience :

• 12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
• Must have at least 10 months of Medical Surgical Oncology experience.
• Experience with Epic is required from any number of months.

Additional Details :

Education must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program.

References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years.

Previous Employment Requirements : Former employees are eligible for a travel assignment once they have been away from the facility for 6 months or more

Current employees are ineligible to be hired as a traveler at any Ohio State University hospital location

Required Skills / Experience : Must have MS oncology and at least 1 year hematology / oncology experience

Skills Required :

Required Credentials : Chemo Certification - ONCC issuing body is also accepted

Special Procedures :

Types of Patients on Unit : Mixed acuity PCU and MS unit

Patient Age Groups : Adults, Geriatrics

Equipment Used on Unit : B450 monitors GE telemetry system, Bladder Scanner, Alaris pumps, Stryker beds

Unit / Facility Details : 36 Rooms, 36 Beds

Special Requests : RTO required with submission, must be built into contract

Shift & Scheduling : No set schedule, no set weekends, no block schedule

The facility determines the complete schedule, which may include working every weekend.

Must be flexible.

Number of Weekends : Variable based on unit needs

Pre-Approved Time Off : 1 Request

Floating Requirements : To other MedSurg Oncology units
