McLeod Software is searching for a System Administrator to join our Enterprise Consulting Services (ECS) Imaging team.

The System Administrator will play a key role in ensuring the availability, performance, and security of McLeod's DocumentPower imaging platform - delivering reliable product support, strengthening internal operations, and driving automation to improve efficiency.

What You'll Be Doing (Responsibilities) :

Install, configure, and maintain servers, virtualization platforms, imaging tools, and network components supporting DocumentPower.

Apply OS and application patches, perform updates, and manage system backups.

Automate configuration and routine processes using scripts or configuration management tools.

Monitor system health, capacity, and performance to proactively address issues.

Manage user access, permissions, and security settings in alignment with IT security standards.

Diagnose and resolve technical issues impacting imaging deployments and customer operations.

Document configurations, changes, troubleshooting steps, and maintain a robust knowledge base.

Support internal teams and clients with outages, upgrades, scaling, and routine maintenance.

What You'll Need (Requirements) :

Education / Experience (Required) :

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent technical experience.

2+ years in system administration, infrastructure support, or IT operations.

Enterprise imaging or document management system administration (DocumentPower, ECM, PACS) preferred.

Experience in transportation or logistics software environments preferred.

Technical Skills :

  • Windows Server and virtualization platforms (e.g., VMware ESXi, Hyper-V).
  • Patch management, backup / recovery, user / group management, and security policies.

    Competency with system metrics, capacity planning, and performance monitoring.

    (Preferred) Familiarity with DocumentPower, imaging workflows, or SQL / PostScript environments.

    (Preferred) Experience with ITSM tools, ticketing systems, or operational dashboards.

    Certifications (Optional) :

    Microsoft MCSA / MCSE, VMware, CompTIA Server+, or Linux certifications are a plus.
