Our core values and our people-first culture remain the same.   As a Wall Assembler at Carter Components  Lansing, MI  your job duties and responsibilities are as follows :

• Arrive to work ready to perform your duties.  Dressed appropriately w / PPE, all tools accounted for, stretched, positive attitude, ready to take on the day.  Employees are permitted to clock in seven minutes prior to start of their scheduled shift.
• Perform start-up checklist for equipment in your assigned work area; guns, tables, nailing bridge, hoist, forklifts, etc.  Report any issues to management, and always follow all safety precautions.

Routine tasks for building walls :

Nail all studs Apply sheeting if required or router openings if required Nail sheeting with nail gun bridge Stack walls in accordance to bundles with overhead hoist.
