About The Position

Job Title : Registered Nurse

Experience : Minimum of 2 years in Labor and Delivery

License : Valid RN License

Certifications : BLS, NRP, PALS preferred

Must-Have : Experience in Labor and Delivery, float to stable post-partum couplet care experience is a plus

Description :

The position involves providing nursing care to mothers and newborns.

You will be responsible for monitoring the health of both mothers and babies.

You will assist in labor, delivery, and post-partum care.

Experience in high-risk deliveries and postpartum hemorrhage management is essential.

You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient care.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of perinatal needs and evidence-based practices.

The candidate will participate in assessing and implementing patient care plans.

You will be required to perform various clinical tasks, including but not limited to, administering medications and conducting health assessments.

The work environment includes caring for a diverse population of childbearing women and their neonates.

You may encounter patients with high-risk conditions and will need to handle emergencies effectively.

All responsibilities will encompass labor and delivery, post-partum, well-baby care, and transitions.

Support and resources will be available from various departments within the facility.

You will be expected to uphold high standards of care and patient confidentiality.

Flexible scheduling and weekend shifts may be a requirement of the role.

A commitment to continuous professional development is encouraged.

Candidates will need a strong background in patient education and support, particularly regarding breastfeeding and postpartum recovery.
