Mainframe Assembler Consultant

SonSoft is an IT Staffing and consulting firm organized under the laws of the Commonwealth of Georgia. We are growing steadily, specializing in Software Development, Software Consultancy, and Information Technology Enabled Services (ITES).

Job Description

Preferred qualifications include :

At least 4 years of experience in Assembler, COBOL, JCL, VSAM, DB2, CICS, ENDEVOR, FILEAID, Debugging tools like XPEDITER / INTERTEST.

Exposure to Assembler programming in a CICS environment.

Strong technical aptitude and experience with software development tools and techniques.

Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work through others.

Effective prioritization and execution of tasks.

Ability to research new and emerging technologies.

At least 4 years of experience in the software development lifecycle.

At least 4 years of experience in project lifecycle activities related to development and maintenance.

At least 2 years of experience in design and architecture review.

Experience and understanding of production support and performance engineering.

Ability to work effectively in a diverse, multi-stakeholder environment.

Over 3 years of experience in the credit cards and payments domain.

Strong analytical skills.

Desire and ability to work in a global delivery environment.

Qualifications

Bachelors degree or foreign equivalent from an accredited institution. Consideration will also be given to three years of progressive experience in the field for each year of education.

At least 4 years of experience with Information Technologies.
