Nurse Practitioner - Geriatrics (Behavioral Health Focus) - ProCare Senior Living

We are seeking an Advanced Practice Provider to join one of the nation s most integrated healthcare systems, with over 1,600 providers in Indianapolis, IN.

Highlights

This provider will join our ProCare Senior Living practice providing care to the geriatric population, with a focus on behavioral health, in the skilled nursing facility and assisted living settings. Ideal candidates will have demonstrated expertise in the advanced practice of nursing within the Adult / Geriatric population and an understanding of the specific needs of this population, as well as a desire to work both independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team. Travel between skilled nursing facilities will be required. Psychiatric-Mental Health NP (PMHNP) or AGNP / AGACNP with post-masters PMHNP certification strongly preferred.

• Full-time, Monday-Friday schedule
• Call requirements : 1 night per week; occasional weekend call rotation (1 : 2-3 months)

Qualifications :

Ideal candidates will have demonstrated expertise in the advanced practice of nursing within the adult / geriatric population and an understanding of the specific needs of this population, as well as a desire to work both independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team.

Licensure & Certification

Educational background consistent with requirements for licensure and certification within the state of Indiana.
