Job Description

About This Role

The IT Support Specialist Fraud Detect Technology Solutions reports to the AVP, Fraud Detect Technology Solutions to provide management oversight to governance, performance management, and L4 support operations for Fraud Detection Platform applications.

The successful applicant will have the opportunity to be integrally involved in the establishment and build-out of a dedicated L4-level support capability for the Fraud Detect Domain in Fraud TS.

Role Accountabilities : Production Support : Maintain overall operational availability and stability of Fraud Detection applications in close partnership and joint responsibility with infrastructure and third-party vendors (incl.

performance, availability, capacity management, etc.), and manageability of all applications; Perform application and platform currency and version uplift implementation;

Application Break / Fix : Search for unexpected results and remediate vulnerabilities in Fraud Detection applications. Provide 4th level application support including, service restoration, post-incident forensics, and implementation of technology routines / maintenance in support of enhanced availability of TDBG services.

Work with Fraud Detect Domain developers and / or other technology partners for advanced investigation, manipulation / changes to source code, etc.

where required. Incident Management : Work with other technology areas / teams to identify complex production issues after escalation from Fraud L3 Support to resolution, escalating to appropriate areas where applicable.

Performance & Lifecycle Management : Perform application and platform optimization for maximum system efficiency and lower overall total cost of operation / ownership;

Work with Technology Asset Owner (TAO) and Fraud Detection Domain owner to develop and curate lifecycle management plans for Fraud Detection applications and supporting platforms.

Service Transition : Work with Fraud Detection Domain delivery teams to ensure smooth and efficient transition of service / technology from non-production to production;

Deployment & Release Management : Work with Release Management resources Plan and orchestrate deployment and / or releases across the portfolio

Requirements

Share your credentials, but your relevant experience and knowledge can be just as likely to get our attention. It helps if you have :

Relevant experience in Fraud Detection, performance management and system optimization.

L2 / L3 incident response experience is a definite asset;

Knowledge in any one or more of the following technology skillsets is a definite asset : MS SQL Server (2012-2019) Autosys / SSRS / SSIS C# / .

Net / ASP.Net / Java MS Azure or other public / private cloud platform (AWS, Google, VMC) Windows and Linux operating systems WebServices / REST API

  • Experience in working directly with third-party vendor application support teams is a definite asset;
  • Working experience in an Agile and / or DevOps team with direct exposure to CI / CD pipelines; Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail;
