Metal Debris Handler / Sanitation Worker

We are hiring for a Metal Debris Handler / Sanitation Worker at a cutting-edge manufacturing company.

Pay : $17 / hr

Hours : 7am-3 : 30pm, M-F

Location : Boise, ID 83705

Position Type : Temp to hire

Responsibilities :

• Removal of aluminum chips in the machine shops as needed per machine
• Mop the machine shops floors to remove excess oil - weekly
• Dump the aluminum chip bins as needed
• Inform supervisor when the aluminum recycle bins need emptied as needed
• Keep areas around the recycle bins swept , organized, and cleaned up as needed
• Shuttle filled trash dumpsters to front lot, move emptied ones to appropriate areas. check daily
• Clean the restrooms (urinals, toilets, sinks, mirrors, wipe down walls, and mop floors) as needed
• Stock restrooms with appropriate toiletries - as needed
• Empty trash cans (large ones in common areas i.e. : break room, hallways) as needed, weekly minimum.
• Clean, mop, and organize common areas break room, hallways, stairway as needed
• Order required pertinent supplies through manager. as needed

Qualifications :

• Experience working in a production environment
• Coordination with others to complete job while not hindering production
• Working a forklift
• Ability to lift 35 pounds by self in safe manner
