Analyst

Our client, a leading commodities company, is seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Analyst to join their team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, providing critical insights to support trading, risk management, and operational strategies.

Location : Stamford, CT 100% Onsite

Responsibilities :

Prepare and analyze monthly journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statements

Assist with variance analysis and support budgeting / forecasting processes

Review AP / AR transactions and ensure compliance with company policies

Provide analytical support for audits and special projects

Identify process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy

Qualifications :

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

2+ years of accounting or finance experience

Strong Excel skills (vlookups, pivot tables)

Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
