Agape Behavioral Healthcare, is currently seeking a Clinical Director for our treatment facility in Oakland Park, FL!
The Clinical Directo r is a member of the multidisciplinary team, who is directly involved in providing quality care for clients. The Clinical Director is responsible for overseeing the daily clinical operations of the facility.
Specific Areas of Responsibility :
1. Demonstrates knowledge and understanding of standards of practice.
2. Demonstrates knowledge of Code of Ethics.
3. Knowledge of clinical functions within the organization.
4. Works closely with management from all fields.
5. Functions as leader for clinical staff
6. Provides for clear lines of responsibility and accountability within clinical department.
7. Communicates with all fields of management.
8. Oversees general daily operations from a clinical and administrative perspective.
9. Provides reports for CEO.
10. Plans, organizes, and directs programs and services.
11. Oversees and directs marketing efforts and activities as needed.
12. Gives assistance on budget matters, and legal issues.
13. Attends outside functions and conferences related to business development.
14. Maintains an effective clinical organizational structure and delegates appropriate authority for completion of assigned responsibilities.
15. Implements plans for performance improvement and provides opportunity for staff development (supervision, education, etc.)
16. Ensures compliance with all regulatory agencies.
17. Performs all duties delegated by CEO.
18. Sensitivity to Cultural Issues of a patient based on their job position
19. Reports Suicidality / Homicide of a patient based to their job position.
20. Competency and understanding of Addition and Mental Health based on their job position.
21. Reports and responds to issues of Trauma of a patient based on their job position.
22. Reports and responds to issues of Dual-Diagnosis issues of a patient based on their job position.
Requirements :
- Ability to work independently in assigned areas.
- One (1) year of experience as a Director in a health care facility.
- Masters degree required
- LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT required
