About the Role

We're seeking a skilled Data Engineer to join our growing team. You will play a key role in designing, building, and optimizing data pipelines and data models that support critical business insights and AI / analytics initiatives. This is a hands-on engineering role with a focus on data modeling, transformation, and scalability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and maintain robust ETL / ELT pipelines to ingest and transform data from multiple sources into clean, structured datasets.
  • Develop and optimize data models to support analytics, reporting, and machine learning workloads.
  • Write efficient and maintainable SQL to support data transformations, validations, and performance tuning.
  • Use Python to build reusable data processing components, automate workflows, and integrate with APIs or third-party systems.
  • Collaborate closely with data analysts, data scientists, and software engineers to ensure data is accurate, accessible, and scalable.
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and continuously improve data pipelines for reliability and performance.
  • Contribute to data architecture decisions and advocate for best practices in data engineering.

Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar data-focused role.
  • Strong expertise in SQL and data modeling for both analytical and operational use cases.
  • Proficiency in Python for data manipulation, scripting, and pipeline development.
  • Hands-on experience building and maintaining ETL / ELT pipelines using modern frameworks or orchestration tools (e.g., Airflow, dbt, Prefect, etc.).
  • Experience with cloud-based data platforms (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, Azure Synapse, or similar).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States .
  • Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with data warehouse / lakehouse architectures.
  • Familiarity with CI / CD workflows for data pipelines.
  • Exposure to data governance, security, and compliance best practices.
  • Knowledge of modern data observability and monitoring tools.
