What You Will Do
Build relationships with internal and external customers to optimize the customer experience and deliver positive business results
Partner with Orchid's supply chain team to drive order volume and fulfillmentIdentify and escalate issues impacting order accuracy, customer satisfaction, or delivery performance in a timely manner through defined escalation channelsORDER ENTRYSubmit new and updated customer information to update the customer master database
Enter new Purchase Orders (P.O.s) into ERP systems in alignment with defined standards of work and documentation protocolsEnsure accurate and timely entry of all customer data and transactions to support downstream operations and financial accuracyUpon completion of contract review and scheduling, confirm acknowledgement date with supply team and acknowledge P.O. to customerCoordinate supplier change requests internally and with customersCONTRACT REVIEWFollow standard of work to view new P.O.s that have been entered
Review P.O.s against key terms such as price, revision, specifications, and bill-of-materials; where discrepancies occur, prepare relevant packages for quoting, engineering, and quality teamsFollow standard of work to complete packages and move them to the next step in the process to ensure timely acknowledgement of P.O.Maintain accurate, audit-ready records of P.O. reviews and related documentation in accordance with Quality Management System (QMS) requirementsORDER MANAGEMENTReview open order report regularly to understand orders in the system by customer and compare to customer forecast, where applicable
Monitor backlog and delivery schedules to ensure alignment with customer expectations and internal capacityCUSTOMER CONTACTProvide timely and accurate information on order status
Request orders to meet customer forecastRequest to pull-in / push-out orders dependent upon capacityUpdate demand according to Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI)Support quoting processesQUALITY AND COMPLIANCELead quality and compliance by complying with all Quality Management System (QMS) documentation requirements
Establish and support actions that contribute to meeting / exceeding KPIs for Safety, Compliance, Six Sigma Quality, On-Time Delivery (OTD), and financial objectivesAdvocate for the health and safety of self, co-workers, customers, and the communityEducation Qualifications
