- Verification : Check items against purchase orders or invoices, ensuring accuracy and inspecting for damage.
- Organized Storage : Store items in designated locations within the warehouse or storage area, maintaining order.
- Record Keeping : Maintain accurate records of received items, including quantities, descriptions, and locations.
- Preservation : Ensure proper handling and storage of materials to prevent damage or deterioration.
Inventory Management :
Tracking : Monitor inventory levels and movements to maintain optimal stock.Reconciliation : Reconcile inventory records with physical counts, ensuring accuracy.Audits : Perform cycle counts and physical inventory audits to uphold inventory integrity.Discrepancy Resolution : Identify and resolve discrepancies in inventory records promptly.Reporting : Prepare insightful reports on inventory levels, stock movements, and discrepancies.Distribution :
Fulfillment : Fulfill material requests or requisitions with efficiency.Retrieval : Locate and retrieve requested items from storage swiftly.Delivery : Distribute materials to designated departments or individuals, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.Additional Duties :
Order Processing : Prepare and process purchase orders and requisitions with attention to detail.Organization : Maintain a clean and organized storage area, promoting a safe work environment.Communication : Liaise with vendors and internal departments regarding material needs and discrepancies.Waste Management : May be involved in the disposal of scrap or surplus materials.Skills and Qualifications :
