Automation Engineer (Houston)

The Engineer IV will provide Tier IV support and lead engineering and automation efforts for oil & gas projects. Responsibilities include interpreting and redlining P&IDs and schematics, PLC programming, HMI automation, FAT testing, and full system commissioning. The role demands ownership of instrumentation, control philosophies, and documentation consistency across projects.

Key Responsibilities :

PLC logic development for various systems (compressors, SCADA, ESD, etc.)

HMI screen and alarm creation using Wonderware

FAT testing of control buildings, panels, and MCCs

Commissioning of station controls and automation systems

Documentation : IO lists, cause & effect, instrument index

Ensure alignment with WIMS standards and philosophies
