As a Security Professional - Retail Patrols in McDonough, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls and more.

As a member of the Allied Universal team, you will play a key role in access control at a major distribution center within the retail sector. Your responsibilities will include monitoring entry and exit points, conducting routine patrols throughout the location, and maintaining a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents. You will interact with employees, visitors, and vendors, providing outstanding customer service and clear communication at all times. Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour

Tue 12:00 PM - 07:30 PM

Wed 12:00 PM - 07:30 PM

Sat 05:30 AM - 12:30 PM

Sun 05:30 AM - 12:30 PM

What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials of individuals entering or exiting the location to help to deter unauthorized entry.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the retail distribution center and its perimeter to help to deter suspicious activity.
• Observe and report any unusual activity or potential threats to the appropriate personnel.
• Assist with crowd control and help to maintain order during busy periods or special events at the location.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and Allied Universal team members.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
