Leads daily warehouse activities such as material handling, inventory movement, shipping, and receiving. It helps keep warehouse areas clean, organized, and running efficiently. The role also serves as the backup box truck driver, responsible for picking up and delivering parts and materials as needed. The Lead Material Handler works closely with production and logistics teams to ensure smooth material flow and completes required paperwork such as packing slips, transfer forms, and checklists.

Minimum Qualifications :

• Minimum age 21 years.
• Valid Indiana Chauffeur's Driver's License and current DOT Medical Certification.
• Must pass a pre-offer Driver Road Test Certification conducted by MPT Muncie.
• 12 years of warehouse / material handling experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Valid forklift certification or ability to obtain.
• 12 years of box truck driving experience preferred.
• Clean driving record with no major violations in the past 3 years.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., bend, climb, and stand for extended periods.
• Strong attention to detail in paperwork, load verification, and inventory tracking.
• Familiarity with basic vehicle safety, DOT compliance, and safe driving practices.
• Comfortable working independently and taking initiative when needed.
• Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
