GEICO Local Office - Raleigh / Durham - Job Description

If you answered yes, then the newly established locally owned GEICO Agency located across from the Southpoint Mall may be the perfect career choice for you! This office will be marketing to West Raleigh, Durham, Chapel Hill, Cary, Pittsboro, Apex and the surrounding areas of the Research Triangle.
Seeking professional, motivated, and friendly candidates who are natural self-starters that bring a positive "can-do" attitude to the table.
The value of GEICO's strong marketing presence and branding power, call-ins and warm leads, will keep you busy writing new policies.
The GEICO Local Office - Raleigh / Durham is a family environment with a non-corporate culture. We are looking for Sales Agents with drive and a great attitude.

Selected candidates will be paid an hourly wage in addition to bonuses and commissions. Total compensation for motivated agents can exceed $55,000 annually.
Selected candidate(s) will start out with three weeks of paid training where you'll learn about the sales process and the applications utilized within the GEICO Local Office.
As a GEICO Insurance Sales Agent, we will teach you how to better understand and identify customer needs, answer all of their questions, and overcome objections.
Requirements for this position include :
Property & Casualty Insurance License
Highly motivated and self-driven salesperson
Coachable and willing to listen to feedback
Desire to be part of growing team / family environment
Strong persuasion skills
Prior sales experience a plus but not required
High level of dependability
Strong computer, typing and grammar skills
Bi-lingual in spanish language is a PLUS
Call center experience preferred
A typical day as a GEICO Sales Representative will include :
Diligently making outbound calls to follow up with interested customer inquiries and turn them into sales.
Preparing personalized rate quotes and identifying cross selling opportunities
Take inbound sales and service calls
Work closely with on staff quality coach to improve performance and efficiency
Providing guidance on selecting appropriate insurance coverage
One-on-one sales coaching
