About the Role: We are seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager with a strong background in managing electrical equipment installation, particularly for data center projects. This role will involve overseeing projects from the design phase (design-build/design-assist) through to completion, ensuring successful execution in all aspects of electrical work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all phases of electrical projects, including design, bidding, purchasing, construction, and closeout
- Lead layout and design efforts using AutoCAD
- Oversee cost/proposal development, value engineering, and constructability analysis
- Develop project schedules, procurement plans, and prefabrication strategies
- Manage billing, estimating, and contract negotiations
- Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure timely project completion
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and best practices
Qualifications: ? Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
? 5+ years of project management experience in electrical engineering or construction
? Expertise in electrical distribution, mission-critical power, lighting, fire alarm, security, and access control systems
? Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
? Proficiency with AutoCAD and project management software
? Experience with data center electrical installations is highly preferred
