Our client is a well-known brand that specializes in women's, men's, and luxury accessories with strong brand awareness and recognition. They are looking to expand their team by bringing on a Freelance Visual Merchandising Manager .

Salary / Hourly Rate — $35 / hr - $40 / hr Based on experience

Position Overview

Our client is seeking an experienced and highly creative Freelance Visual Merchandising Manager to oversee the execution of the brand's in-store presentation at their New York City retail location. This temporary position will manage all aspects of visual merchandising, ensuring the store reflects the brand's identity and drives a seamless customer experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, implementation, and maintenance of all in-store visual displays, windows, and floor layouts.
• Translate brand guidelines and seasonal directives into compelling, customer-centric presentations.
• Partner closely with Store Management, Operations, and Corporate Visual teams to ensure consistency and timely execution.
• Train and guide store teams on visual standards, product placement, and styling techniques.
• Manage daily / weekly updates to product displays in response to sales trends, new arrivals, and promotional events.
• Oversee scheduling, budgeting, and vendor coordination for visual installations and signage.
• Monitor store traffic and visual performance metrics to drive continuous improvement.
