What You’ll Do

As a Control Systems Engineer II, you will become a key contributor to the design, configuration, and deployment of HMI/SCADA platforms used in complex, continuous-process environments. You’ll collaborate with talented engineers, support process control initiatives, and help build robust, future-ready automation solutions.

Requirements:

• 2-5 years programming experience – Bonus Computer Science Degree.
• Understanding of object-oriented thinking and design
• Ability to troubleshooting legacy code and suggest improvements while adhering to standards in place
• Has worked with multiple programming languages. Bonus if this includes C#, VB, or (not necessarily in order of important): Programming Object-Oriented Design (OOD) Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) Inheritance and Encapsulation Quickscript Legacy Code Analysis SQL – DB Design and Query Scripting Troubleshooting and Debugging AVEVA System Platform Wonderware System Platform AVEVA InTouch Wonderware InTouch AVEVA OMI ArchestrA IDE ArchestrA Objects Template Development Automation Object Framework Process Control Systems HMI Integration User Interface Design (HMI)

  Preferred Experience & Skills

  Strong background in Wonderware / AVEVA HMI & SCADA development

  Instrumentation design and data acquisition (SCADA) interface experience

  Understanding of process control strategies and industrial automation systems

  Familiarity with database management and industrial networking

  PLC programming experience (any platform) is a plus

  Knowledge of Visual Basic scripting

  Ability to interpret and work with P&IDs

  Exposure to I/O control networks and VFDs

  Experience working in continuous process or SCADA-heavy environments
