About the Role
As a Temporary Non-Bidding Full-Time Distribution Tier 2 employee, you will play an essential role in Clover Sonoma’s warehouse operations during the peak seasonal period. This temporary assignment is part of the unionized workforce represented by Teamsters Local 665.
Employees in this classification are full members of the bargaining unit and receive applicable benefits, wages, and union protections. Clover Sonoma will cover the upfront cost of the Teamsters initiation fee as a one-time benefit for this temporary classification.

Hourly pay rate : $30.79 per hour
Responsibilities
Work safely and efficiently in a refrigerated warehouse environment (+34°ree;F).
Operate on the corrugation line to package products into boxes.
Load, unload, and palletize products for distribution.
Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and handheld inventory systems.
Read and understand lot codes, rotation dates, and route loading schematics.
Maintain sanitation and cleanliness consistent with food distribution standards.
Execute all job duties in accordance with Clover’s Food Safety and Quality programs.
Collaborate effectively with coworkers and follow supervisor instructions.
Uphold Clover Sonoma’s values and safety culture at all times.
Qualifications
High School diploma or GED required.
Ability to read and follow written and verbal instructions.
Basic computer and handheld device proficiency.
Forklift operation experience (certification preferred; training available).
Excellent teamwork, reliability, and attention to detail.
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift, carry, push, and stack products weighing up to 40 lbs. Repeatedly.
Frequent bending, twisting, and lifting from ground level up to 6 feet.
Walking on a variety of warehouse surfaces and performing repetitive motion tasks.
Working Hours
Temporary full-time position; typically four (4) days per week, ten (10) hours per day.
Clover Sonoma operates 24 / 7, and flexibility for weekends and holidays is required.
Work hours and overtime are administered in accordance with the collective bargaining agreement and California labor law.
Union & Employment Terms
Covered under the Teamsters Local 665 bargaining unit.
Classified as a Temporary Flexible Non-Bidding Employee.
Term limit : Up to six (6) consecutive months per appointment.
No seniority accrual or job bidding rights
Full union membership required; dues apply per the CBA.
Clover Sonoma will cover the upfront cost of the initiation fee as a one-time benefit for this temporary classification.
Eligible for health, welfare, pension, and other benefits, subject to plan eligibility.
If converted to a regular full-time position, previously paid initiation fees will be credited toward the full amount.
Pre-Employment Requirements
Must successfully complete a pre-employment drug screening in compliance with Clover Sonoma’s Drug and Alcohol-Free Workplace Policy.
