Electronics Technician
Schedule : Mon-Thur 6 : 00 a.m.-4 : 30 p.m.
Pay Rate : $26 an hr
Overview
Join a collaborative team of technicians, supervisors, QA staff, and engineers to test, troubleshoot, and repair locomotive electronic equipment. You'll work with control systems, signaling devices, and board-level electronics while supporting high safety and quality standards.
Responsibilities
Perform functional and final assembly testing
Troubleshoot and repair to board / component level
Conduct SMT and through-hole solder repairs
Follow IPC and ESD procedures
Inspect products, document results, and verify revisions
Maintain and calibrate test equipment
Complete daily work orders and adapt to shifting priorities
Support 5S, safety protocols, and cross-training
Qualifications
Associate's degree or military electronics background (preferred)
3+ years bench repair experience (preferred)
Skilled with oscilloscopes, multimeters, generators, counters, etc.
Ability to read schematics and follow technical instructions
Experience with stand-alone board testing
Familiarity with Microsoft OS and terminal software
Physical Requirements
Fine motor skills for precise electronic work
Lift up to 50 lbs
Ability to distinguish small components
On-site attendance required
Pay Details : $26.00 per hour
