The Teaching & Learning Collaborative at Wentworth is seeking a full-time Instructional Designer (ID) to join a dynamic team to foster innovation in teaching and learning to enhance student learning in face-to-face, hybrid and online courses. This is an exciting opportunity for a forward-thinking professional who is passionate about working at the intersection of teaching, learning, and technology, aimed at supporting inclusive and accessible educational experiences.
IDs build positive working relationships with faculty to guide application of course design and delivery through best practices such as active learning strategies , and encouragethe meaningful adoption of learning management systems and academic technology tools. They leverage their expertise in learning design and skills with academic technology to bring emerging technologies and best practices to Wentworth students.
This roleoffers a flexible, hybrid work arrangement, requiring at least 2 days of on-campus presence per week.

Minimum Education Required Bachelor's degree Preferred Education Master's degree Minimum Work Experience Required Bachelor's degree in education, instructional design, instructional technology or teaching related discipline. Strong knowledge in and 1-3 years of experience working as an instructional designer or part of an educational role Preferred Work Experience Master's degree in education, instructional design, or teaching related discipline with 4 or more years working as an instructional designer. Experience in a higher education setting Minimum Knowledge Required Working knowledge of concepts, practices and procedures and ability to use in varied situations.
