A co-op or internship with Peoples Gas offers hands-on experience in financial modeling, strategic analysis, and Power BI dashboard development. You'll collaborate with Engineering, Sales, and Business Development teams to support real projects that drive business decisionsmaking it a powerful launchpad for your career!

Primary duties and responsibilities include :

Generates financial results by modeling project inputs into all PGS business financial models. This requires coordination between Engineering, Sales & Marketing, and Business Development to ensure accurate financial modeling.

Assist with maintaining and enhancing PGSs financial assumptions / processes and the deployment of models.

Gathers and maintains needed sources of information necessary to support modeling, analysis, Sales, and decision-making activities.

Prepare charts, graphs, presentations, and summaries as needed in support of project feasibilities and strategic business objectives.

Maintain and modify existing Power BI Dashboard used for project reporting

Assists with ad-hoc strategic analysis as needed.

What you need to succeed :

Current student in Business Analytics or Finance field of study

Excel basics (use of formulas, formatting)

Knowledge of PowerPoint

What will give you a competitive edge :

Advanced Excel (indexing, arrays, Pivot tables)

Knowledge of Organization and Process Improvement

Familiarity with Power BI and MySQL

Schedule : 20 hours / week, onsite

Onsite Location : Midtown, 3600 Midtown Drive, Tampa, FL 33607

Note : Housing and relocation assistance are not provided. This opportunity is best suited for students who are or will be local to the area.

Qualifications : Currently enrolled in your 2nd, 3rd, or 4th year of an undergraduate program, or a graduate program, at an ABET-accredited university or college. Maintain a GPA of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale. A pre-employment drug screening, as well as a background check (including education, employment, criminal and motor vehicle) will also be conducted as part of the pre-employment screening. A physical may be conducted if required for the role.
