Job Description
ResponsibilitiesUnder the supervision of the Director of Nursing and supervised by a Registered Nurse, the LVN administers medication as prescribed, implements patients’ treatment plans, evaluates patient’s response to treatment, provides complete and accurate documentation, and provides health care education for patients and families. The LVN is the shift supervisor of the Mental Health Techs and ensures that the environment is safe and therapeutic for all patients.

Requirements :
Education : Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
Experience : Prior clinical experience and recent psychiatric nursing experience is preferred
License/Certification : Current LVN licensure in the State of Texas
Skills : Good communication skills, ability to present information and ideas essential to nursing duties and must maintain effect working relationships interdepartmentally, intradepartmentally, and with the medical staff.
