Description:
Seeking an experienced Strategic Sourcing Manager to lead sourcing strategies for client’s Vegetation Management portfolio. Role includes supplier governance, category management, and cost optimization while ensuring operational and capital project needs are met.
Responsibilities:
- Lead sourcing, contract governance, and supplier performance management.
- Develop portfolio/category strategies to drive cost savings, sustainability, and supplier diversity.
- Oversee spend analysis, negotiations, and contract awards ($500K–$10M).
- Build and manage a high-performing team (supervisors, category leaders, specialists).
- Partner cross-functionally to improve processes and service delivery.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent + 8+ years sourcing/related experience.
- Strong leadership, negotiation, and cross-functional management skills.
- Utility/vegetation management or project management experience preferred.
- MBA, 10+ years sourcing, and SAP/SRM expertise desirable.
