The Web Strategy Director drives Sedgwick's digital presence by transforming market-facing websites into strategic assets that enhance brand visibility and business performance. This role sets the vision for web operations, championing innovation, cross-functional collaboration, and data-driven optimization to deliver seamless digital experiences and measurable outcomes. By aligning web initiatives with strategic objectives, the Web Strategy Director elevates Sedgwick's market impact and establishes a standard of excellence across all digital touchpoints.
Essential Responsibilities May Include
Supervisory Responsibilities
Provides support, guidance, leadership and motivation to promote maximum performance. Administers company personnel policies in all areas and follows company staffing standards and training recommendations. Interviews, hires and establishes colleague performance development plans; conducts colleague performance discussions.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in marketing or a related field from an accredited college or university preferred. Ten (10) years of related experience in digital marketing, web strategy, or digital product management, with a strong focus on enterprise-level websites, or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
Skills & Knowledge
Ability to set a clear vision for web strategy and align initiatives with broader business goals. Skilled in leading agile teams and fostering collaboration across marketing, IT, and business units. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives, prioritize effectively, and deliver on time. Proficiency in web analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics) and KPI reporting. Understanding of CMS platforms (e.g., Sitecore, WordPress), UX / UI principles, and web development processes. Frontend development a plus. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders and present complex ideas clearly. Experience in developing and refining operational frameworks for web governance and quality assurance. Ability to meet or exceed performance competencies.
