Summary :

The Nutrition Site Manager is responsible for the management of the meal service area; congregate and home delivered meals program; documentation of participant activities at the meal site as well as serving meals to congregates daily (Monday-Friday) and packing meals for homebound participants.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

• Maintain accurate meal rosters for both congregate and homebound participants.
• Monitor HDM routes and compare rosters for accuracy.
• Responsible for coordinating all delivery drivers and maintaining the delivery routes.
• Collect and verify route sheets, mileage reports, and time sheets; report discrepancies to the Nutrition Director.
• Foster positive relationships with vendors, HDM staff, senior center participants, and co-workers.
• Secure all monetary contributions and keep confidential. Responsible for turning in all money and reports to the main office.
• Ensure compliance with sanitation standards for meal service areas and delivery equipment.
• Food service responsibilities include checking the quantity, quality and temperature of meals.
• Report and document meal vendor shortages.
• Attend all Nutrition Site Manager meetings. Quarterly meetings are mandatory.
• Adhere to all JCOA Guidelines, Personnel Policies and Nutrition Procedures as well as Health Department Rules and Emergency Procedures.
• Deliver meals as needed.
• Attend training offered by JCOA.

Qualifications :

Supervisory Responsibilities : The site manager is responsible for supervising the Delivery Drivers and reporting findings to the Nutrition Director

Education and / or Experience : High School graduate or equivalent.
