Payroll Specialist

Description

We are looking for a dedicated Payroll Specialist to join a team in Saint Paul, Minnesota. This long-term contract position offers an excellent opportunity to grow professionally while contributing to a dynamic and supportive work environment. The ideal candidate will bring strong attention to detail, adaptability, and a commitment to delivering accurate payroll services.

Responsibilities

Audit and analyze union reporting data to ensure compliance and accuracy.

Prepare and file local and quarterly tax returns in a timely manner.

Reconcile accounts to maintain accurate financial records.

Provide support for year-end payroll processes, including reporting and documentation.

Collaborate with team members on ad-hoc projects and tasks as needed.

Assist in adapting to system changes and improvements during the engagement.

Ensure full-cycle payroll operations are conducted efficiently and accurately.

Requirements - Proven experience in full-cycle payroll operations.

Strong attention to detail and ability to analyze data effectively.

Familiarity with preparing and filing local and quarterly tax returns.

Proficiency in account reconciliation processes.

Ability to adapt to changes in systems and workflows.

Interest in supporting diverse projects and tasks within the payroll function.
