Procurement Lead

POSITION OVERVIEW

This position supports Engineering, Construction, and Operations teams with supply chain support for large and small Capital Projects. A Capital Project Procurement Lead Specialist specializing in power generation and liquefaction equipment and services leads the sourcing, contracting, and contract management for major infrastructure projects, with responsibilities spanning strategy, supplier relationships, technical collaboration, and cost control.

The Project Procurement Manager is responsible for overseeing, managing, and coordinating procurement activities for assigned projects. This role ensures that all goods, services, and materials are acquired on time, within budget, and in compliance with project specifications, company standards, and regulatory requirements. The manager will collaborate and integrate with internal stakeholders and preferred Engineering and / or Construction suppliers to support successful project delivery.

KNOWLEDGE

• Understanding of electric power generation and / or utility plant construction or operations.
• Understanding of LNG or Oil & Gas plant or pipeline construction or operations.
• Experience with capital project stage gate processes.
• Experience with supply chain sourcing, contracting, purchasing, expediting, inventory, and contract management.
• Experience with power generation equipment such as turbines, transformers, heat recovery steam generators, etc.
• Experience with source-to-contract and purchase-to-pay systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP, GEP, Coupa, JDE).
