Human Resources Manager
The EADS Group, Inc., which began operation in 1955 is actively seeking a Manager of Human Resources to be part of our growing multi-discipline consulting engineering and architecture practice. This is a full-time position that reports to the President and CEO of the corporation.
The Human Resources Manager focuses on managing recruitment, retention strategies, benefits, compensation, employment policy, performance management, supporting leadership development, employee relations and skills development, directing the HR department's goals and objectives, and labor compliance functions within the company. The Human Resources Manager serves as the primary contact with the company employment law attorney and outside government agencies.
The ideal candidate will be self-motivated with strong interpersonal, communication and leadership skills, and at least 10 years of progressive human resources experience, with at least 5 years in senior management or executive HR roles. Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development or a related field is required. Preference will be given to applicants with an advanced degree and / or relevant professional certification (e.g., SHRM or PHR).
Office location at our Corporate Headquarters in Altoona, PA is highly preferred. Travel to all offices is a requirement. We offer a flexible workweek, competitive benefits package, and salary commensurate with experience.
