What you will be doing

Lead and clearly articulate vision for a large team of security professionals in ACAMs and Corporate facilities. Identify and build security procedures and programs to adequately protect employees, customers, suppliers and company assets.

Work with Division management, ACAM’s, Corporate Physical Security and Crisis Management on security issues, and formulate security programs and technology solutions.

The position will be based in Boise, Idaho, or one of our main regional offices (Seattle, WA, Portland, OR, Pleasanton CA, Denver CO, Dallas TX, Chicago, IL, or Fullerton, CA, Phoenix, AZ).

Main responsibilities

Asset Protection Leadership

  • The ability to develop business goals, team strategies, and recommend new approaches, processes and policies to drive continuous technology improvement supporting AP Org.
  • Ensure development and implementation of corporate best practices, policies and strategies.
  • Play a leadership role when critical incidents and workplace violence situations occur, including gathering data, performing interviews, and following up on preventative measures.
  • Develop partnerships with all field support teams, including AP Directors, Managers, Store Operations, Human Resources, Facilities and IT.

ACAM’s

  • Team leadership; include recruiting, development, performance oversight and budgeting.
  • Lead ACAMs functional areas; Alarm Monitoring, Central Station, CCTV Helpdesk, and Lock shop; manage operational activities, functional team and yearly budgeting.
  • Support and act as a liaison between the ACAMS team and Division AP Directors in order to facilitate various projects and service needs.

Expand scope and capacity of central alarm monitoring and overnight call operations.

Special projects support for other functional areas of the company around physical security, technology and to utilize department resources to support the company and divisions.

Corporate Physical Security

  • Team leadership; include recruiting, development, performance oversight and budgeting.
  • Manage Security Supervisors on daily activities, scheduling, shift staffing and issues in the Corporate Offices, Riverview, Innovation Center, Records, Boise Aviation and Sundries DC.
  • Schedule Security officers for off and on-site functions.
  • Identify needs for upgrades to CCTV system in corporate facilities.
  • Facilitate access control needs company wide.
  • Communicate and partner with outside agencies, BPD, DHS, and FBI, regarding current trends.
  • Maintain fleet vehicles for use by the executive teams. Facilitate Executive transportation needs.

Corporate Campus CRT

  • Support Business Resiliency from an AP perspective.
  • Corporate support to the Division / DC / LERT structure and support to the Field Assistance Team.
  • Represent AP within multiple Crisis Management Response plans, ., Boise Facility Plan, Corporate Aviation Plan, Store Flipchart, Corporate Crisis Management Team.
  • Executive accountability and protection should there be an event in Corporate campuses

The salary range is $118,100 to $165,380 annually. Starting salary will vary based on criteria such as location, experience, and qualifications.

There may be flexibility for exceptional candidates. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, disability and life insurance, sick pay (accrued based on hours worked), PTO / Vacation Pay (accrued based on hours worked) or Flexible Time Of, paid holidays (9days annually), bereavement pay, and retirement benefits (pension and / or 401K eligibility).

Associates in this position are also eligible for a quarterly bonus.

What we are searching for

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 6 to 10 years plus the education listed above
  • Security technology experience and high-level understanding of physical security
  • Team management, past grocery, Loss Prevention, Asset Protection or retail leadership
  • High degree of initiative with ability to drive and influence multiple stakeholders
  • Manage multiple projects requiring frequent communication, organization / time management, flexibility and problem-solving skills.
  • Possess the ability to motivate and work with and through others to achieve desired results
  • TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS : 15%-20%
