Principal Duties

• Provide general office support including copying, scanning, faxing, and email communication.
• Support management and staff.
• Maintain and organize files.
• Accurately and efficiently enter data into the UOVC database.
• Other duties as assigned.

Our Ideal Candidate

Bilingual (English & Spanish) is preferred, but not required. At least one year of experience in a professional office environment. Strong communication skills. Ability to maintain confidentiality and work independently. A professional that is able to deal with others showing tact and sensitivity. Proficient with operating office equipment, Microsoft Office, Adobe, and Google Calendar and ability to learn other agency-specific computer software applications. Effective multi-tasking, organization, and time prioritization skills. Experience as a legal secretary, paralegal, and / or experience with the courts is a bonus.

The Utah Office for Victims of Crime (UOVC) provides financial compensation for victims of crime, administers and monitors victim assistance grants, networks victim services across the state, provides enhanced training, and provides staff support to the Utah Council on Victims of Crime.
