Senior System Administrator - Fully Cleared - Security Clearance Required

Bluehalo is currently seeking a Senior System Administrator to provide critical contributions towards a high priority program in Annapolis Junction, MD.

WHAT YOU WILL DO
As a Senior System Administrator, you will be provide support for the implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of Information Technology (IT) systems.
Responsibilities may include :
- Managing IT system infrastructure and any processes related to these systems.
- Providing support to IT systems including day-to-day operations, monitoring, and problem resolution for all the client / server / storage / network devices, mobile devices, etc.
- Providing Tier 1 (Help Desk) and Tier 2 (Escalation) problem identification, diagnosis, and resolution of problems.
- Providing support for the escalation and communication of status to agency management and internal customers.
- Providing support for the dispatch system and hardware problems and remains involved in the resolution process.
- Configuring and managing UNIX and Windows operating systems.
- Installing / loading operating system software, troubleshooting, maintaining integrity and configuring network components along with implementing operating systems enhancements to improve reliability and performance.
- Designing, monitoring, and maintaining the production infrastructure and system security plan (SSP).
- Working with mission customers to identify and execute new IT system requirements.
- Communicating and collaborating with admin team counterparts across organizations.
- Working directly with system users and developers to help with day-to-day IT issues as they arise.
- Understanding the needs of the rest of the team to remove roadblocks.
WHAT QUALIFICATIONS YOU WILL BRING
- 10 years of relevant System Adminstration experience.
- Bachelor's degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or a related discipline from an accredited college or university is required.
4 years of additional experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree for a total of 14 years.
- DoD 8570 compliance with IAT Level I or higher.
- Experience with configuring and managing UNIX and Windows operating systems.
