Position Overview

The Program Manager will manage engineering product / system development program initiatives, and as a result the ideal Program Manager will have a proven ability to strategize and implement such program initiatives. In case gaps exist in the program development process, the Program Manager should create the process. As a leader, this person should have strong talent for project coordination and delegation. Ultimately the Program Manager should be motivated by a desire to optimize productivity and nurture program success from inception to completion.

Primary Responsibilities

• Strategize, implement, and maintain program initiatives that adhere to organizational objectives.
• Work closely with project sponsor, cross-functional teams, and assigned project managers to develop the scope, deliverables, required resources, work plan, budget, and timeline.
• Ensure program goals, especially budget and timelines are met.
• Analyze, evaluate, and overcome program risks. Identify ways to mitigate risks.
• Produce program reports and deliver presentations to the involved teams and stakeholders such as management.
• Oversee and coordinate with multiple project teams including those in Korea to ensure program goals are reached. These teams will be in engineering, product management, supply chain and quality.
• Since the focus is on engineering product / system development, for the above mentioned responsibilities, the Program Manager must understand at a high level the technical objectives, status, results and risks.
• Establish product / system development processes.
