Electrical Engineer

We are partnering with an innovative manufacturer in the HVAC industry seeking a highly motivated Electrical Engineer to join their dynamic engineering team. The ideal candidate brings 2-3 years of hands-on experience in electrical systems and control panel design. HVAC industry experience is a strong advantage and preferred.

The following information provides an overview of the skills, qualities, and qualifications needed for this role.

This role will involve designing, testing, and supporting electrical systems within a manufacturing environment, with direct responsibility for electrical starter and control panels, DDC controller programming, and facility support. The engineer will collaborate cross-functionally with departments including production, sales, and quality assurance.

Key Responsibilities

Design and develop electrical starter and control panels, including switchboard fabrication.

Support facility electrical systems and infrastructure.

Configure and program DDC controllers and related hardware / software for HVAC units.

Produce and update technical documentation including schematics, BOMs, and user manuals.

Ensure all electrical designs meet regulatory standards and safety protocols.

Provide technical support for installation, testing, and troubleshooting efforts.

Collaborate with other departments to resolve electrical and control issues.

Assist in sourcing components and evaluating vendor specifications.

Provide training and guidance to technicians and production team members.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.

2-3 years of experience in an electrical engineering role within a manufacturing environment.

HVAC-specific experience is a strong plus.

Proficiency with DDC and PLC control systems is preferred.

Solid understanding of electrical schematics and system integration.

Ability to work on-site; local candidates preferred, but relocation support may be considered for the right fit.

Proficient in MS Office and engineering documentation tools.

Excellent communication, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.
