About the Position

An exciting opportunity is available for a full-time OB Hospitalist (Laborist) in Langhorne, PA. Join a mission-driven and compassionate team dedicated to providing modern, family-focused maternity care. This role offers three 12-hour shifts per week (days and evenings) in a hospital equipped with a Level II NICU, prioritizing innovation, safety, and personalized care.

This is a hospital-employed, hourly-paid position that allows you to focus entirely on in-hospital continuity of care without the demands of office practice. You’ll collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of OB / GYNs, neonatologists, midwives, anesthesiologists, lactation consultants, and other specialists.

Key Responsibilities :

Provide in-hospital OB coverage, including labor & delivery, triage, and postpartum care

Manage emergent OB situations and high-risk deliveries

Collaborate with nursing staff, midwives, and consulting specialists

Support patient-centered birth plans

No call responsibilities

Schedule :

3 x 12-hour shifts per week

Mix of day and evening shifts (finalized during interview)

Compensation & Benefits :

$150 / hour base pay

Requirements :

Board Certified in OB / GYN – Required

Active PA license or willingness to obtain – Required

NCC certification in fetal monitoring (or must obtain within 6 months) – Required
