Key Responsibilities
- Oversee $1.5-$2M in account revenue as the senior strategic advisor for clients.
- Develop coherent strategies for clients and projects consistently.
- Build relationships with top executives at leading technology firms as a trusted advisor.
- Pioneer a key agency cornerstone by enhancing client service, operational excellence and financial performance.
- Drive revenue growth within existing clients through comprehensive marketing and communication strategies.
- Lead pitches to secure new clients, directly contributing to agency growth.
- Collaborate with teams to deliver integrated multichannel solutions, leveraging traditional PR, digital, and social media.
- Cultivate a high-performance culture focused on continuous improvement and quality.
- Manage, mentor, and support staff in a collaborative environment to develop skills and capabilities.
- Monitor staff performance and set developmental goals for ongoing improvement.
- Represent Highwire and clients at industry events to expand professional networks and drive new business opportunities.
- Ensure profitable service to clients while effectively managing staff performance and workload.
- Maintain account group revenue through careful budgeting and resource management.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism, or a related field.A minimum of 15 years of experience in communications, either in-house or agency, with at least 5 years in a leadership position.Proven ability to build relationships with top-tier reporters and editors to secure significant media placements.Extensive experience in writing and editing for various print and online communications.Background in social media engagement, content campaigns, and media coverage amplification.Demonstrated leadership in managing strategic communications and marketing programs to further organizational goals.Innovative thinker with a proven track record of translating strategic plans into actionable results.Experience in building and mentoring teams of communications specialists.Exceptional judgment and creative problem-solving skills.Able to adapt and make decisions in dynamic environments while anticipating future needs.Experience in setting up measurement programs for ROI evaluation of communication activities.Highwire Perks
