JOB SUMMARY
Reporting to the Warranty Manager, this role is responsible for managing the supplier warranty process to maximize supplier reimbursement for Blue Bird incurred warranty expense due to supplier defects and part failures. Additional responsibilities include, but not limited to, maintaining and updating the warranty and systems software, processing warranty claims and other warranty related tasks.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage the supplier warranty recovery process
- Manage all supplier warranty claims
- Manage the warranty part return process
- Create and maintain supplier warranty KPI metrics
- Create ad-hoc warranty data analysis to communicate findings clearly and concisely
- Maintain and update tables within warranty software management system
- Develop basic coding to create warranty metric reporting within QlikSense application
- Administer the Blue Bird warranty policies and procedures fairly and consistently with the dealers, service centers, suppliers and customers
- Perform other duties as assigned
