We are seeking a visionary Vice President, Databricks Practice Lead to establish, grow, and scale our Databricks practice. This leader will be responsible for developing the strategy, driving revenue growth, building strong client relationships, and developing high-performing teams that deliver world-class data and AI solutions leveraging the Databricks Lakehouse Platform.

The VP will serve as both a thought leader and a hands-on executive, bridging business strategy with technical delivery. They will engage with C-suite clients to define transformative roadmaps, partner with Databricks as a strategic partner, and ensure our clients realize measurable business value from their data and AI investments.

Information Security Responsibilities

Promote and enforce awareness of key information security practices, including acceptable use of information assets, malware protection, and password security protocols

Identify, assess, and report security risks, focusing on how these risks impact the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information assets

Understand and evaluate how data is stored, processed, or transmitted, ensuring compliance with data privacy and protection standards (GDPR, CCPA, etc.)

Ensure data protection measures are integrated throughout the information lifecycle to safeguard sensitive information

Role and Responsibilities

Define and execute the vision and go-to-market strategy for our developing Databricks practice

Build and scale service offerings that integrate Databricks with broader data, AI, and cloud transformation initiatives

Drive revenue growth through new client acquisition, expansion of existing accounts, and joint GTM with Databricks and cloud partners

Serve as a trusted advisor to C-suite and senior client executives, shaping their data, analytics, and AI transformation journeys

Oversee high-impact delivery engagements, ensuring business outcomes, scalability, and best-in-class execution

Evangelize the Databricks Lakehouse Platform in client presentations, industry forums, and thought leadership initiatives

Strengthen and expand our alliance with Databricks, cloud hyperscalers (AWS, Azure, GCP), and complementary technology partners

Collaborate with sales, marketing, and alliance teams to develop joint campaigns, co-selling motions, and IP / accelerators

Build and mentor a high-performing team of data engineers, ML engineers, architects, and consultants

Foster a culture of innovation, continuous learning, and delivery excellence

Develop career pathways and certification programs to deepen organizational expertise in Databricks and modern data stack tools

Preferred Qualifications

15+ years of experience in data, analytics, and digital transformation for a systems integrator, technology provider, or digital consultancy

5+ years of experience in leadership roles

Deep expertise in Databricks and cloud-native data platforms

Databricks certification(s)

Proven track record of building and scaling practices, including GTM and team growth

Proven success delivering solutions in collaboration with global teams

Outstanding presence, presentation, and negotiation skills; the ability to inspire, engage, partner with, and influence executive-level leadership

Experience leading large-scale data modernization, AI / ML, or digital transformation initiatives

Excellent organizational skills and a methodical approach to tasks

Bachelor's degree and / or equivalent experience preferred

$250,000 - $285,000 a year

Individual pay is determined by many factors, including experience, relevant education or training, and organizational needs. The mid-range to maximum of the salary range is generally reserved for individuals who are highly experienced in the role.
