Overview
We are seeking a skilled Production Operator to join our team at our facility located in Plainfield, IN, 46168. As a Production Operator, you will be responsible for performing machine setups for production runs, ensuring the efficient operation of our production line.
Responsibilities
- Perform machine setups for production runs according to established guidelines and procedures.
- Operate production machinery and equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
- Monitor production processes to ensure quality standards are met.
- Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of production machinery.
- Troubleshoot and resolve minor production issues to minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals and targets.
- Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Document production activities and maintain accurate production records.
Qualifications
- Prior experience in machine setups for production runs is required.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to operate production machinery.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and blueprints.
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain quality standards.
- Good problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot production issues.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects as required.
