Pricing Manager

The Pricing Manager will play a pivotal role in shaping our commercial success by balancing tactical execution with strategic analysis. This role is uniquely split :
- 50% Builder Quotes Managing the end-to-end process of preparing, reviewing, and optimizing builder quotes to ensure accuracy, competitiveness, and profitability.
- 50% Pricing Analysis Conducting deep-dive pricing studies, competitive benchmarking, and financial modeling to guide leadership decisions and improve margin performance.
Key Responsibilities :
Builder Quotes (50%)Quote Development & ManagementPrepare, review, and finalize builder quotes with precision and timeliness.Ensure quotes reflect accurate cost inputs, margin targets, and compliance with company pricing policies.Partner with sales teams to understand customer requirements and tailor quotes accordingly.Track and analyze quote win / loss ratios, identifying patterns and recommending improvements.Pricing Analysis (50%)Conduct comprehensive analysis of historical sales and promotional data to identify trends, patterns, and insights that can inform the development and optimization of future marketing campaigns. This analysis should aim to enhance campaign effectiveness, improve return on investment, and drive sustainable growth.Build and maintain dynamic pricing models to test elasticity, margin sensitivity, and volume impacts.Run "what-if" scenarios to support leadership in strategic decision-making.Partner with finance to evaluate product-level and customer-level profitability.Support programming and budget planning with data-driven recommendations.Translate complex data into clear, concise insights for all audiences.
Skills and Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or related field (MBA preferred).57 years of experience in pricing, financial analysis, or commercial strategy roles.Strong proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, advanced formulas, scenario modeling) and data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, or similar).Strong understanding of Salesforce features, including opportunity management, product catalogs, and quote generation tools.Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.Strong communication and presentation abilities, with a track record of influencing cross-functional teams.Key Competencies :
