Laboratory Coordinator Blood Bank
Description
- Responsible for supervising the activities including planning, coordinating, scheduling, disciplining, evaluating and monitoring within the assigned area.
- Supervises staff to ensure the smooth flow of operations and compliance with hospital and department policies, procedures, and other regulatory agencies.
- Provides technical guidance and assistance to the staff.
Requirements :
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Medical Laboratory Science or a related science field is required.
- Certified in clinical laboratory science by recognized certifying agencies.
- Must have at least 1 year experience as a Medical Laboratory Scientist in the designated discipline and be qualified under CLIA regulations to function as a General or Technical Supervisor.
- General supervisory experience is preferred.
- Membership in a professional organization is highly desirable but not mandatory.
