About The Position

Job Title : Pediatric Critical Care Nurse

Profession : Registered Nurse

Duration : 18 Weeks

Shift : Night and Day Shifts Available

Hours per Shift : 12 Hours

Experience : Minimum of 2 years in pediatric critical care or strong cardiovascular intensive care background

License : California RN License required

Certifications : BLS and PALS required

Must-Have : Epic charting experience preferred

Description :

This is a float pool position requiring flexibility in scheduling.

Travelers must be willing to work 2 out of 3 holidays, including holiday eves.

The position includes 3x12-hour shifts with 4-5 weekend shifts on Saturday and Sunday for day shift, and 5-6 shifts on Friday and Saturday nights.

Travelers will receive one full weekend off every 4-week schedule.

National certifications required include BLS and PALS.

On-call duty is required as needed.

Clinicians will float within the scope to meet facility needs.

Travelers will float within the assigned facility.

The unit admits over 1,700 patients annually and has received recognition for excellence in care.

Floating to satellite locations may be required.

Candidates without experience in children's hospitals should provide details of pediatric experience.

All candidates must have a California RN License in hand or provide an ETA for submission.

Reimbursement for travel will follow standard rates when necessary.

Modules required for pre-start must be completed, which do not count as part of orientation hours.
