Position Summary :

Mackenzie-Childs is seeking talented, creative artists to hand-paint our locally made Aurora pottery. Decorators are responsible for applying stain / china paint to ceramic pieces in an efficient manner in compliance with the Mackenzie-Childs' high-quality standards.Training on the job is provided for our signature designs. Mackenzie-Childs artisans are responsible for maintaining a high level of quality and efficiency.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities : (Additional duties may be assigned)

85% Apply stain / china paint to ceramic pieces in an efficient manner in compliance with the Mackenzie-Childs' high-quality standards

5% Move pieces to and from racks and workstations

5% Data entry for labor recording and tracking

5% Maintain work area and equipment in a clean and orderly fashion

Supervisory Responsibilities :

This position does not have any supervisory responsibilities.

Qualifications

Education and Experience :

• High school diploma or GED
• Background in art either through employment or hobby preferred
