Job Description / Duties
- Develop and utilize social media, print, web and email marketing techniques to solicit gifts and educate constituencies on the significance of philanthropy and giving at SUNY Cortland.
- Create Stewardship Videos for the Cortland College Foundation to use for major events that garner support, solicit gifts and give thanks to the university's donors.
- Market and advertise the engagement ambassador and internship programs to increase awareness about Annual Giving's student opportunities towards advancing the campus community and enhancing professional development.
- Organize and manage events for Annual Giving, The Cortland College Foundation, and SUNY Cortland to increase awareness about resources, thank donors and solicit gifts (i.e. Cortland Challenge).
Days / Hours Needed
Office hours are scheduled as stated below on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays when classes are in session. Hours will be scheduled upon hiring and remain consistent for the semester.
Office Hours Between : 8 : 30 a.m. to 4 : 30 p.m.

Required Qualifications
Sophomore, Junior, or Senior class status with a minimum of 2.0 GPA.Photography, videography and graphic design skills.Excellent written and oral communication skills.Ability to coordinate several projects at one time and work on a team.Excellent computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint).Public speaking and proofing skills.Must be a SUNY Cortland StudentPreferred Qualifications
