Flowerama is looking for looking for hardworking, upbeat, dependable full-time Retail Manager. Our Florist and Gift store is seeking qualified applicants who have strong customer service and / or retail experience.
Essential Job Functions
Be able to perform and train the essential job functions of retail sales associates and be knowledgeable enough to oversee the floral designer so store maintains profitability.Interview, hire, manage and terminate employeesComplete and / or audit daily bookworkReport concerns and / or daily operations to regional leader or corporateManage flower dumpage and analysis for profitabilityOrder and manage fresh and non-perishable inventoryConduct employee meetings, performance evaluations, and holiday game plans Communicate effectively daily plans and requirements, and future plans and eventsMaintain good housekeeping practices, appropriate care information, professional signage, and correct pricing as it fluctuates with cost of goodsManage customer service and complaints effectively Anticipate upcoming needs and follow industry trends through educational resourcesMonitor deliveryMonitor shrinkageComplete any other tasks as required to regional leader or corporate
