Maintenance Fitter / Welder

Are you a skilled Maintenance Fitter / Welder looking for a stable, hands-on role in an essential industry? Staffmark is hiring for a Maintenance Fitter / Welder in New Iberia, LA, where you'll play a key role in keeping plant equipment running efficiently and safely.

Pay Range : $25.00 - $30.00 / hour (Depending on Experience)

Schedule : Monday - Friday | 7 : 00 AM - 3 : 00 PM

Overtime , call-outs, and weekend work may be required to support plant operations.

What You'll Do :

• Perform fitting and welding tasks on plant equipment and machinery.
• Diagnose, repair, and rebuild mechanical systems and production components.
• Overhaul mills and related processing equipment to maintain peak performance.
• Replace bearings, shafts, and other mechanical parts as needed.
• Fabricate and modify components to improve reliability and minimize downtime.
• Follow preventive maintenance schedules and maintain accurate service record s.
• Respond promptly to urgent repairs, including call-outs and extended hours when necessary.
• Follow all company safety procedures and maintenance best practices.
