We are searching for an SAP Technical Architect. The ideal candidate will have experience with SAP implementation projects in the pharma industry (clinical trials preferred) and will be a key member of our SAP service line.
The Opportunity :
Be responsible for the technical transformation of the entire SAP and its complex software architectures
Work closely with peers and product managers to develop great technical designs and approaches for new product development
Recommend the development methodology and framework for the project
Provide the overall design and structure of the application
Build a solution, which is easily configurable, deploy-able and secure in a SaaS environment
Participate in the design and development of product features
Determine, analyze, and transform business requirements to produce design specifications at the system and programming levels Estimate the effort and timelines for features
Perform impact analysis of new features or changes to existing features Should independently develop and deliver scoped features, identify and mitigate technical risks
Enhances skills beyond own core functional focus and works on other tasks for the benefit of the team
Coordination in a cross-functional team and with other geographically distributed teams
Demonstrate good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions
Mentoring developers for difficult tasks provides technical advice and guidance to the Tech Leads
Guiding the team in doing POCs and early risk assessments
Identify, track, and mitigate risks to the product
Up to 50% of travel
Review, design, and optimize applications transforming into scalable solutions in ERP / CRM systems
Select appropriate technical options for development such as reusing, improving, or reconfiguration of existing components.
Identify the problem patterns and improve the technical design of the application / system
Interpret the application / feature / component design to develop the same in accordance with specifications.
Validate results with user representatives, integrates and commission the overall solution.
Influence and improve employee engagement within the project teams
Learn and implement newly released technology features wherever possible.
Attend industry / technology-specific conferences (if any) and share knowledge with the team.
Conduct peer reviews and demand high-quality standards from the reviewed deliverables.
Conduct technical assessments for hiring candidates in architect / lead roles.
Use expertise and skills in enterprise solutions technologies to develop / enhance the ERP / CRM Practice.
What you need :
2+ years in a customer-facing deskside support / end-user computing role
Bachelor's Degree in Management Information Systems or Information Technology or equivalent experience required
Must have excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and be engaging with end-users
Must be flexible and able to work various shifts to include weekends if needed (not expected)
Experience with MAC, Microsoft® OS, and Microsoft Office® applications
Experience with problem-solving in a support-oriented environment
Exceptional soft skills and troubleshooting skills.
Team player, good communicator, self-directed work style, and ability to multi-task
Should have hands-on technologies experience
Should have strong experience in handling at least 2 Production Support activities
Should have strong experience in SAP Functional and Domain (Pharma / Life Sciences) exposure
