What you'll be working on
Provide input to the business architecture, contribute to feasibility study, cost / benefit analysis, business case, and risk assessmentProvide input to planning decisions, monitor and report any changes in requirements, manage and report status of business analysis progress against project planUse relevant modeling techniques and templates to document business requirementsParticipate in gap analysis, investigation and communication of capability gaps and evolving requirementsContribute to the development of a Business Requirements DocumentProvides business and system expertise along with research / analysis services that support the design, delivery and maintenance of quality applications and enhancementsImplements business requirements and process change initiatives to ensure that all specifications meet the objectives of the CompanyPerform manual testing on occasion and as neededWhat we're looking for you to have
5+ years experience in Business Analyst or Quality Assurance Specialist role3+ years experience in insurance / financial servicesExperience in Group Benefits is an assetPost secondary education or equivalent work experienceStrong Requirements Elicitation and AnalysisProficiency in Digital Portals and CX / UX AnalysisAgile and Hybrid Project Management ExperienceStakeholder Engagement and Communication SkillsSystems Thinking and Technology Know-HowStrategic Thinking and Business Value AwarenessAbility to think logically, analyze and / or solve problemsAbility to construct written reports on various issueWorking towards CPAB or IIBA designation an assetCourses in facilitation skills, modeling techniques and / or stakeholder management an assetIf you are applying for a position which is open to applicants across Canada, unless otherwise indicated in the position, language proficiency in English is required for communicating with customers, advisors, or employees across Canada.Beyond the salary
